Rosters: who serves at each service
Build service sheets (Word, prayer, worship, ushering), share them and text everyone their duty.
Pro plan and above Open in WorshipHQ
1. Set your roles (once)
- 1Go to Rosters and choose Manage roles.
- 2Add the duties that appear on every sheet, e.g. Word Ministration, Prayer Leader, Offertory.
- 3Close when done.
2. Create a service sheet
- 1Choose New service sheet and give it a name (shown as the message heading), e.g. "Pulpit Workers - this week".
- 2Set the Service, Date and Time, and choose a person for each role (or type a name).
- 3Use Add another service to put several services on one sheet.
- 4Save.
3. Share it
- Copy: copies the sheet as text to paste anywhere, e.g. WhatsApp.
- Text everyone: texts each person on the sheet their own duty. You see the cost and your balance first.
- Announce: texts the whole sheet to a group (e.g. Pulpit Workers) or the whole church.
Each sheet has its own reminders
Reminders are set per roster, and even per service, so nothing is forced on every sheet. When you create or edit a roster:
- Text each person their own duty: choose Use general (the church default), Set a time, or No reminder for the whole roster.
- On each service, Remind these people lets that one service have its own time. For example Sunday's team can be texted the day before at 6:00 PM, and Wednesday's team that same morning at 7:00 AM. It shows the exact day and time it will go out.
- Announce this roster to: a group, a department, or Everyone. Different rosters can go to different people.
- Auto-announce time for this roster: days before, on a day, or on a date.
The Announcement button at the top sets the church-wide defaults that rosters follow when you choose Use general.
Create a group first (e.g. "Pulpit Workers") on the Groups page and add its members, then choose it here.
Editing a roster does not text people again who were already reminded.
Deleted sheets are kept in Recently deleted for 7 days. Restore one, or remove it for good.
