Budgets and department budget leaders
Give departments budgets, track income and spending against them, and let leaders manage their own.

Create a budget
- 1Go to Budgets and choose New budget.
- 2Enter the Budget name (e.g. 2026 Youth Ministry) and Allocated amount (₵).
- 3Choose the Department / ministry, or Whole church.
- 4Choose the Year, and a quarter or Annual. Add notes and choose Create.
Each budget shows Allocated, Income logged, Spent and Balance. Record income and expenses inside it, and use Add line item for planned spending.
Let a department leader manage their budget
- 1Go to Settings, then Users & roles, and use Invite budget leader.
- 2Choose the department and enter the leader's details.
- 3They can only see and manage that department's budget, nothing else.
